Hey! I'm Rachel.
I'm an illustrator and graphic designer living in Colorado. I graduated in May 2019 with a BFA in graphic design from Colorado Mesa University. Watercolor is my favorite medium, but I love to create no matter the media!
I did a brief internship at an old-school printshop located in rural Kentucky during the summer of 2018. During my time there, I found a true love for the printing process, and a genuine passion for graphic design. After graduating, I interned with the City of Grand Junction. I designed collateral for the marketing department, producing material for internal and external distribution.
I was Mesa County Public Library's featured Artist in Residence for Summer 2021, featuring my watercolor work. Since then, I have worked with various institutions to teach art to a variety of age groups and have been selected as a featured artist on several public art commissions, such as Art on the Riverfront Trail in Grand Junction, Colorado, and others.
I live with my two spoiled cats, who often lay on my lap while I work. When I'm not drawing or working on my latest project,I love to rollerskate, or spend time perusing the local shops and trails.
Currently, I am freelancer available for new projects. If you have an idea for a project, please reach out!
